AI Credit Team ("Company," "we," "us," "our") operates the website aicreditteam.com and related services. We provide AI-assisted credit repair education tools and dispute letter drafting services. Contact us at support@aicreditteam.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account Information

Email address, password (hashed — never stored in plain text), subscription plan, payment status.

Personal Profile Information

First name, last name, mailing address, city, state, ZIP code, phone number, date of birth, last 4 digits of SSN. This is used solely to populate your dispute letters and is never sold.

Credit Report Data

Credit report contents you upload or paste into the platform. This data is analyzed by AI to identify negative items and generate dispute letters. Raw report text is stored in your account.

Dispute & Letter Data

Dispute records, letter content, mailing tracking numbers, creditor responses, and case timelines you create within the platform.

Payment Information

We do not store your credit card number. Payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status only.

Usage Data

Browser type, IP address, pages visited, and feature usage for platform improvement. Collected via standard server logs.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and improve our credit repair tools and services
To populate dispute letters with your personal information
To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, dispute deadline reminders, mailing confirmations)
To respond to your support requests
To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. How We Store & Protect Your Data

Your data is stored in Supabase (a PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS). All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest. Access to your data is restricted by row-level security — you can only access your own records.

Your SSN last 4 digits and date of birth are sensitive fields stored in your profile and used only to fill dispute letter templates. We recommend not storing your full SSN — our platform only asks for the last 4 digits.

5. Third-Party Services

Stripe

Anthropic (Claude AI)

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access — Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
Correction — Update or correct inaccurate personal information via your account Settings
Deletion — Request deletion of your account and all associated data
Portability — Export your data at any time from Settings → Account → Export My Data
Opt-out — Disable non-essential communications in Settings → Notifications

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it (e.g., billing records for tax purposes, retained for 7 years).

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice in your dashboard. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
